Your own backyard has the potential to be your source of heating and cooling comfort.

If you are exploring the heating and cooling options for a new house or looking for ways to reduce your energy bills in your current home, you may wish to consider converting to a Geo Thermal system.

A heat pump system extracts heat from one place; the ground, well water or the air, and transfers it to another. In winter, heat pumps transfer heat by circulating a refrigerant substance through a cycle that extracts heat from the ground or air source and transfers it to the air inside the house. The cycle reverses in the summer, extracting heat from inside the house and transfering it the ground or air outside. Using ground or air source means there is no need for oil, gas or propane to heat the air, reducing consumable resource costs; thus the name Earth-energy Systems (EES).

Energy Savings*
Earth-energy systems cost savings compared with electric furnaces are around 65 percent.

Maintenance*
EES's require little maintenance on your part. As with any air moving system, filters should be cleaned and changed regularly and the unit should be inspected and cleaned by professionals once a year to ensure system performance at peak efficiency.

Life Expectancy*
EES's have a life expectancy of about 20 to 25 years.
